live edge slabs

Timber Dover uses Alaskan chainsaw mills to create live edge slabs from salvaged trees sourced from around Southern Ontario.

These slabs are then air dried until the moisture content reaches appropriate levels (approximately one (1) year for every inch in thickness) for processing. Slabs are then flattened by hand, and can be used in your renovation project, or to build furniture.

If you have a downed tree that is greater than eighteen (18) inches in diameter, we may be interested in your timber. Please contact us!

Live edge furniture can be a conversation piece in any room. Timber Dover builds custom tables and benches using our inventory of live edge slabs. Our catalogue shows pieces that are currently available to purchase.

If you don't see what you want, but have something specific in mind, please contact us. We may just be able to make it happen!

Off cuts are a part of creating most live edge slabs. At Timber Dover we don't like to waste anything. We use these pieces that usually become firewood to create one-of-a-kind candle sticks, cellphone and tablet holders, and whatever else our minds dream up.

Our current stock can be viewed in the catalogue.
